New healthcare casters ensures more security and comfort for special needs patients
(NASHVILLE, Tenn., USA: Nov. 14, 2007) Hickory Hardware (www.hickoryhardware.com),
North America's leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of decorative,
functional and industrial hardware, introduces the Faultless Bariatric
389/385 Series of healthcare casters. Combining the technology of
Faultless Caster and its sister company, RHOMBUS, the Faultless
Bariatric 389/385 Series offers more stability and security for
healthcare providers serving the growing bariatric patient population.
"The
increasing number of patients with obesity affects healthcare at
every level, including the equipment we use," said Steve Bakich,
national sales manager of healthcare casters, Hickory Hardware.
"All patients should feel assured that their healthcare facility
has the right equipment to ensure their security and comfort, and
that was Hickory Hardware's goal in designing the Faultless Bariatric
Series."
Faultless Bariatric Series casters are made of zinc-plated or powder
coated steel and are ideal for use on mobile X-ray equipment, ultrasounds
and large electrical medical equipment. The casters have an integrated
selection mechanism, with total and direction locking brakes that
are continually greased, and a swivel bearing with a double ball
in the raceway.
The Faultless Bariatric 389/385 Series is available in polyurethane
with two mounting options 78.5 mm or 34 mm fixing pins.
